En este libro se nos muestra cómo transformar nuestras fotografías en auténticas obras de arte únicas, usando una amplia gama de técnicas poco usuales y creativas, muchas de las cuales no suelen asociarse a la fotografía convencional, rozando los límites del Arte con letras mayúsculas.

Los Autores:

Tony Worobiec estudió Bellas Artes en la universidad y durante dieciséis años fue director de una importante facultad de diseño en Dorset. Ha ganado diversos premios en el Reino Unido y en el extranjero, y ha expuesto su obra en la Barbican Gallery de Londres y en el National Museum of Photography de Bradford. Su trabajo aparece en numerosas revistas fotográficas y regularmente escribe sobre técnicas de laboratorio de blanco y negro.

Ray Spence cursó estudios de microbiología. Sus trabajos de fotógrafo y profesor han discurrido en paralelo, y actualmente enseña fotografía en el Warwickshire College of Art and Design. Durante treinta años Ray se ha especializado en procesos de copiado monocromos y alternativos. Actualmente utiliza la imagen digital, con lo que combina métodos nuevos y tradicionales en su trabajo. This book shows us how to transform our photos in real works of art unique, using a wide range of unusual and creative techniques, many of which are not normally associated with conventional photography, grazing the boundaries of Art with capital letters.

In the first part, shown innovative ways of using traditional photographic methods. Some are carried out with the camera, like the creative approach, others are strictly laboratory, such as multiple copy-ye assembly, and some involve the use of unusual films, such as sensitive to the infrared spectrum. In the second part explores the impressive range of effects that can be achieved using less conventional means, including digital technology. Authors:

Tony Worobiec studied fine arts at the university and for sixteen years was director of a major power of design in Dorset. He has won several awards in the UK and abroad, and has exhibited his work at the Barbican Gallery in London and the National Museum of Photography in Bradford. His work appears in numerous magazines and regularly writes about photographic laboratory techniques of black and white.

Ray Spence studied microbiology. His works of photographer and teacher have in parallel, and currently teaches photography at Warwickshire College of Art and Design. For thirty years Ray has specialized in monochrome copying processes and methods. Currently uses digital imaging, which combines new and traditional methods in their work.

He has published numerous articles in journals of photography. Both authors have been honored with the Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and both are included in the "Distinction's" Panel of society. His works are part of its permanent collection.
